How to Take Care of Your Sublue Scooters

We all want our underwater scooters to be running perfectly every time we get to use them; and to achieve that goal, we have to maintain them the proper way, so that they won’t lose their functionality. Here are some tips to help take care of your Sublue Scooters.

Basic equipment you’ll need:

1. A basin or bucket that can fit the Sublue scooter you own
2. A jet spray hose
3. Two drying cloths
4. A small tooth brush
5. A clean and proper storage space for your scooter.

How to clean the Sublue underwater scooter

1. Place the basin in the area where the floor can get wet, and fill it up with freshwater or tap water.
2. Immerse the scooter in the water, and make sure that it’s turned on. 
3. While holding it, rev it for about 20-30 seconds at full throttle to flush out the propellers.
4. Once this is done, take it out of the water and remove the battery from your scooter. 
5. Now, jet spray the battery and the scooter to desalinate them. Make sure that you spray all the parts so that no salt gets left behind. 
6. Remove the grid and propeller blocks and use the jet spray to hose them down as well.
7. Once this is done, replace the water in the basin you used earlier, and rinse out the parts separately; to further ensure that all the salt gets washed away. 
8. Brush the parts up gently to remove some of the gunk that wasn’t washed away by the jet spray.
9. Once you’ve rinsed the parts, dry them with the clean drying cloths, and make sure that each part is dry before proceeding to the next step.
10. Assemble the Sublue underwater scooter back into its original form and place it in the proper storage area you prepared earlier.

How to store your underwater scooter

Make sure that the area you’re storing your scooter in is clean and easily accessible for cleaning materials. You don’t want dust to build up in the small crevices of your scooter. You’ll also want to make sure that the battery and the electrical components aren’t placed under direct sunlight, to prevent over exposure and melting due to heightened temperatures.
